This summer Kid Chow, the Bay Area's premier kids' organic lunch caterer, is excited to be partnering once again with Camp Edventure More! to provide delicious, nutritious chow to your children. Kid Chow's hot and cold lunches are packed with Whole Food’s quality lunches your kids will love: burritos, quesadillas, pastas, hamburgers, macaroni & cheese, veggie sushi, deli sandwiches and more. It's a perfect lunch for your child's active camp day.
Have you signed-up for lunch service at EDMO during registration? It’s not automatically included with your camp registration.
Kid Chow is NOT automatically included in EDMO’s tuition. If you checked the lunch option for $33.00/Week during your initial registration for each of your camp weeks, then you are all set. If not OR you have added additional camp weeks and need to add the lunch option for those weeks, you have 2 ways to sign up for the lunch service after your initial enrollment:

Kid Chow STANDARD Hot Lunch Option – No Action Required
To make your job easier, we’ve chosen our most popular lunch items for your kids! Your child automatically will receive Kid Chow's delicious Standard Hot Lunch Option of the day. Please check the week you are going to make sure it’s the lunch selection your child wants.
Kid Chow CUSTOM Lunch Option – Ordering Instructions (no additional charge)
If You Prefer To Select Your Child’s Meal Options: (i.e. you child wants to customize a hot lunch entrée (i.e. oil instead of marinara on tortellini), prefers a Week A hot lunch offering but is attending camp on Week B, prefers cold lunches on some days or has dietary restrictions, simply dowload the CUSTOM lunch menu and review the ordering instructions below to place your child’s order.
How Do You Order Custom Lunches?
If you are new to Kid Chow, go to
www.Kidchow.com and click the Register link under the 'New to Kid Chow?" section. We encourage you to read our
Ordering Instructions below before ordering.
If you are an existing Kid Chow school customer, go to
www.Kidchow.com and login in as usual. Please note, you will need to change your child's assigned school tothe specific camp your child will be attendingbefore placing your order. Click the Edit Child link on the Order Chow page to make this change. If you are still ordering for the school year, you will need to change your child's assigned school from the assigned camp back to their current school to continue your school lunch ordering.
Kid Chow’s Custom Order Deadline is Monday at midnight, 1 week in advance of your camp session. For example, the order deadline for the camp week of 6/14 – 6/18 is Monday, 6/7 at midnight. You may order as often as you want.
Kid Chow’s Cancel Deadline for both Standard & Custom Lunch Orders is the same as the order deadline, Monday at midnight, 1 week in advance of your camp session. Cancelations must be made directly with EDMO prior to the cancel deadline. There are no exceptions to these deadlines including changing camp weeks and unplanned camp absences. Sorry about that.

Camp Lunch Ordering Instructions
There are 2 steps to set up a Kid Chow account: Register and Add a Child.
Click Register/Login on the home page to display Kid Chow’s login page.
- Register - Click Register under the ‘New to Kid Chow?’ section. This will display the Kid Chow Sign Up page. Please enter contact information and login information that you would like us to use for order confirmations and correspondence. Once entered, click Accept to display the Add a Child page.
- Add a Child – Please add your child’s name. For school/Camp, select the specific camp section from the drop down list. Provide your child’s grade and age (this determines the lunch portion size and price.) Click ‘Add the Child’ to complete your Account setup process. If you have another child, you can repeat this process. You are now ready to place your lunch order. You will be logged out and asked to log bag in this first time. Please note, there is no grade 9 in setup. Please use grade 8.
Ordering Lunches:
There are 2 steps to Order: Lunch Selection and Checkout.
Step 1 – Lunch Selection
- Once you login at www.kidchow.com, please select the child you are ordering for (the name appears in the white box) and click the Order button next to the name.
- The Order Calendar page should now be displayed. Click on a date that you would like to order lunch and our lunch order form for that day will appear. Select 1 entrée and 2 sides (a 3rd side and drink may be optional depending on your camp program.) You will be asked for condiments, if available, for the selected entrée. If you have any special requests or need to highlight any information, you can enter it in the Special Request section on that lunches order form. Examples might be ‘no crust’, ‘light on the mustard’, ‘allergic to strawberries’, etc. Once you have selected your lunch items and entered any special requests, you click Add to Cart. This will place this day’s lunch in your lunch shopping cart. You can see a summary of days you have ordered in your shopping cart on the left side of each page in the purple section. To see the lunch details, you can click on View Cart.
- After clicking Add to Cart the calendar for selecting more lunch days will be displayed. You can continue selecting lunch days and ordering lunches or proceed to Checkout to complete the ordering process.
Step 2 – Checkout (there is no charge for EDMO campers)
There are 2 steps to Checkout -- Both steps MUST be completed to process orders this first time.
Step 1: Review Shopping Cart – Click the large CHECKOUT blinking icon in the left purple section on the side. Your lunches to be ordered will be displayed. Once complete, click the Step 2 link at the bottom of the cart page.
Step 2: Complete Order - At the completion of Step 4, your order receipt with the details of your lunches will be displayed. Feel free to print it out as a reminder of your upcoming lunches. You can always view your orders online.
